Indeed, Allah is the Most Knowledgeable, Most Wise, Whose decision is never resisted. Allah is never asked about what He does, while they will be asked. He is knowledgeable of the true reality of all things and the benefits they carry. He knows what benefits His servants, so He allows it for them, and what harms them, so He forbids them from it.

Ala-Maududi. (14:7) Also call to mind when your Lord proclaimed: “If you give thanks, [11] I will certainly grant you more; but if you are ungrateful for My favours, My chastisement is terrible. [12] 11. That is, if you are grateful, you will appreciate Our favors and make right use of them, and will not rebel against Our commandments, but
Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise." Surat Al-Baqarah [verses 122-129] - O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.
